Wingfan Africa specialises in providing impellers for various applications.

We understand that each application is unique and requires an impeller tailored to its specific needs.

Our blade profiles come in various sizes for fans, from 173 mm to 2144 mm. We have tested all of them in wind tunnels to ensure their optimal performance, enabling us to determine the best blade profile for each application.

We use a selection program that provides accurate impeller curves for different blade pitches and diameters. This enables us to select impellers with realistic flow rate vs. pressure curves. Our SELECT 3D program considers the different blade pitches and diameters to ensure that each application’s impellers perform best.

Hub Systems

Wingfan Africa specialises in designing and manufacturing high-quality industrial fans for various applications. One of the critical components of a fan is its hub, which connects the blades to the motor. The hub plays a crucial role in ensuring the fan’s durability and performance, and it needs to be selected based on the fan’s load-bearing capacity.

To meet this requirement, Wingfan Africa offers a range of hub systems specifically designed for different blade profiles and fan families.

The H-series hubs are designed for lighter-duty fans, while the Z-series hubs are used for medium-duty fans. The Y-series and T-series hubs are designed for heavy-duty and extreme-duty applications, respectively.

Our team of experts has experience selecting the appropriate hub type based on our customers’ specific needs. We consider factors such as the operating environment, the load-bearing capacity, and the fan’s expected lifespan to ensure that our customers get the best possible performance and durability from their fans.

Replacement Blades

An impeller is a rotating component in a pump or compressor that helps transfer energy. Over time, the blades of an impeller may become damaged or worn, reducing efficiency or even causing complete failure. Traditionally, replacing a damaged impeller meant replacing the entire unit, which could be costly and time-consuming.

Wingfan Africa, however, has developed a modular impeller design that replaces one or more damaged blades instead of the entire unit. This approach is more cost-effective and efficient from a maintenance point of view.

In addition, Wingfan Africa’s team strives to reduce downtime by quickly replacing impeller blades. With a turnaround time of approximately one hour, customers can rest assured that their equipment will be back up and running quickly, minimising any potential disruptions to their operations.
